Clean your running shoes by hand

The first thing to do is to tap your shoes together right after your running training. This will remove the more substantial, like dried mud and gravel stuck under the shoe.
Nothing replaces a good hand wash, which is the only way not to brutalize your shoes and not to damage them. This may seem restrictive and rather long, but it is the ultimate in washing.

With hand washing, it is almost impossible to degrade the fabrics, the insole, or the mesh of the shoe. Indeed, their manufacture is done in more and more sophisticated materials, and their washing has become more and more delicate.
